What are refurbished bikes?
Refurbished bikes are high-quality second hand bicycles that must meet the following criteria:
Technical Inspection: Every bike undergoes a thorough technical inspection before it is made available for leasing again.
Restored to Like-New Condition: If necessary, the bike receives full maintenance to bring it back to the market in like-new condition for leasing.
Premium Brands at Low Prices: Nearly-new top-tier bikes from the biggest brands, but more affordable and more sustainable.
Warranty: The bike comes with a 12-month warranty.
In addition, all refurbished lease bikes include insurance against damage and theft, as well as other options such as a maintenance budget, accessories, and roadside assistance. We require these standards to ensure the level of service you have come to expect from us. A refurbished bike can be leased for a period of three years, matching our standard contract duration for new lease bikes.
How it works
Start your application in the Lease a Bike portal
Create a Lease a Bike account and request an order code from your employer. You can manage your lease contract and complete all subsequent steps within your account.
Browse online or visit a store
Browse the collection of our refurbished partners online or visit the affiliated Bikeselection or E-bis stores. Here, you will find top brands at surprisingly competitive lease prices.
Choose your refurbished lease bike
Found your favorite bike? Make sure to have your unique order code from Lease a Bike ready. At Upway, you can easily start the ordering process online by entering this code. At the Bikeselection and E-bis stores, the staff will assist you with the ordering process on-site using your unique order code.
Complete your application
As soon as your employer approves, we will finalize the contract. With Upway, your bike will be delivered to your home based on your preferred delivery details. At Bikeselection and E-bis, you have the choice to either pick up your bike in-store or have it delivered. Your lease period is ready to begin!
